Cardinal Classic Information

We will be competing in Soda Springs this Saturday. The bus will leave Star Valley High School at 7 a.m. We will pick up athletes at Thayne Elementary and Silverstar if that is more convenient for you. The race schedule is as follows:

Description
Drive over Tincup Pass and find the Kelley Pk turn-off to the west just as you descend the hill into Soda Springs.

5,000 Meters Open - Citizens Race 9:00 AM
2,500 Meters Middle School 10:30 AM
5,000 Meters Junior Varsity A and B 11:40 AM
5,000 Meters Varsity A and B 1:00 PM

Womens Races
5,000 Meters Open - Citizens Race 9:00 AM
2,500 Meters Middle School 10:00 AM
5,000 Meters Junior Varsity A and B 11:00 AM
5,000 Meters Varsity A and B 12:20 PM

We plan on being back in the valley by 4 p.m. We will practice Friday morning @ 7 a.m. We can provide a bus if needed but you need to let us know asap.

American Fork Relays

We will be headed to American Fork this Friday for the grass relays. This will be an excellent "rust buster" for us and give us a chance to compete as a team. We are also planning on hitting a water park afterwards...so bring a swimsuit, pack your dinner, and the school will pick up the tab for meals on Saturday. We will leave from the HS at 4 p.m. Friday, and be home around 10 p.m Saturday. Information for the race can be found @ http://sites.google.com/site/timomostert/americanforkgrassrelays

Lunch Meeting Tomorrow

We will be meeting tomorrow at high noon to go over summer camps/training, etc. Bring your lunch and we'll get you the information you need!

Awards Banquer/Season Video

We will FINALLY wrap up the XC season with our annual awards banquet/season video debut on Tuesday 12/14 @ 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium at the HS. Bring your family and friends and enjoy the evening. Keep resting, the workload will be returning soon.

NXN Regionals @ Boise

Last weekend we checked out the scene at NXN Regionals in Boise. We fielded 2 complete boys teams in the open varsity race, and individuals in both the girls varsity open and the championship race. Runners from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Oregon, and Washington took it to the course @ Eagle Island State Park. We also were able to meet Dathan Ritzenhein, former US 5k record holder and running superstar. The team T-shirts were a huge hit in the t-shirt swap too. Good times for all. NXN Regionals @ Boise

We are entered and have been practicing for one last hurrah for 2010 at the Nike National Northwest Regional in Boise on November 13th. We will leave on 11/12 at 11:30 a.m. from the high school. Please bring enough money to pay for your meals. Each athlete has been given a packet containing information they will need for the weekend.
