Jackalope Invitational 9/16/11

Here is the race information for Douglas next weekend:

The “2011 JACKALOPE CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL” is on Friday September 16th, 2011. There will be running a middle school race for those of you who wish to participate. We are including a course map for your review. Please note the following:

From the coaches and spectators point of view, a short walk from the starting and finishing line to the top of the hill will allow you to view the starting and finishing line and will allow you to view the complete race from a single vantage point. As you will notice, we will start on the 18th fairway and will finish on the 17th fairway.

ORDER OF RACES AND APPROXIMATE STARTING TIMES:
2:00 PM FIRST RACE—GIRLS 3K MIDDLE SCHOOL
2:30 PM SECOND RACE--BOYS 3K MIDDLE SCHOOL
3:00 PM THIRD RACE—GIRLS 5K JUNIOR VARSITY
3:30 PM FOURTH RACE—BOYS 5K JUNIOR VARSITY
4:00 PM FIFTH RACE--GIRLS VARSITY
4:30 PM SIXTH RACE—BOYS VARSITY

Middle school awards will be presented immediately following the Middle School Race.
All high school awards will be presented immediately following the last race.

We will leave the HS at 7 a.m. and pick up athletes at Thayne Elementary, Silverstar, Etna Elementary, and Alpine if needed. Please pack a lunch and bring money for dinner. After the race we will eat in Casper and then stay the night in Riverton. We will stop for a team run @ Jenny Lake on Saturday and be home around noon.
